God’s Love for Women Podcast | God’s Goodness, Who Jesus Is, Hope, Healing, Forgiveness, Confidence
Do you feel like you’ll never be good enough for God? That despite your good works, you’ll never please Him? Were you raised with a version of God that you don’t agree with or that doesn’t feel right? Such as a judgmental God that only loves certain people? Friend, this podcast will help you discover the real, true, Biblical character of God. Hi, I’m Jenn. Jesus lover, survivor, and divorcee. God lovingly pursued a relationship with me in my teens. But due to the teachings around me about God, I rejected Him. As a result, I continued to feel unloved, alone, and depressed into my 20s. But after I gave my life to Christ 2 years into my marriage, God purposefully equipped me with legit Biblical resources. Finally, I was able to relate to God for who He really was! Friend, if you’re ready to know the God your heart’s been seeking… And approach Him just as you are, sins and all… And be accepted, loved, and valued - then this podcast is for you! Let’s dive in! Yep - you read that correctly. Jesus + Sarah McLachlan! Jesus has a habit of speaking to me through the arts - music, movies, books. Recently, I was revisiting some good 'ole '90s Sarah McLachlan for the first time in ages. And when a particular song came on, playing for the first time from my playlist, Jesus immediately spoke through its lyrics in a very powerful way.
And the message wasn't just for me. It was for all of you, too. The women I serve with this podcast.
What did Jesus say? Join me, sister, as I break it down verse by verse. Prepare to be overwhelmed by Jesus' love. (It may be prudent to break out the tissues!)

Our identity, and where its rooted, affects every aspect of our life. The decisions we make, the activities and emotions we engage in, where we find our value - not to mention our relationship with Jesus. So the question is: where is your identity rooted? Is it truly in Christ? Or are you seeking your identity - and thus your value - from people and things of the world? (Maybe without even realizing it because, let's be real, the world constantly tells us women that our value should come from a billion other things than Jesus.)
Sister, grab your coffee, pumpkin spiced latte, or hot chocolate and join me as we dig into our identity as Christian women and lovers of Jesus! Let's keep ourselves out of danger and on the right path!

In the Church at large, creativity isn't really seen as a major tool. "In the beginning, God created..." (Genesis 1). Yet when it comes to helping to bring unbelievers to Christ or feeding God's children, creativity is largely absent. As a result, for those of us who are highly creative, we can often feel as if our creativity doesn't have a place. But what if I told you that your creative gift - whatever it may be - is super vital to the Kingdom? What if I told you that perhaps God has imbued you with creativity for such a time as this?
Friend, grab your favorite beverage and join me as I break down why your creative gift is immensely powerful - and pivotal - to the Kingdom!

Hard Truth: Survivor mode and a thriving relationship with Jesus cannot co-exist. Why? Because survivor mode is a short-term, fear-based way of thinking. Sure, it's a common mode to form when we've lived through abusive relationships; starting over from square one; dire financial hardship; or any other experience where the bottom seemingly fell out from under us. But we want to move closer to Jesus. We want to be empowered by Jesus. And our identity *is* in Jesus. Which means that, ultimately, a survivor mode has no place in our relationship with Jesus. In today's episode, I’m going to cover 3 major ways our survivor mode negatively impacts our relationship with Jesus - and how we change that moving forward.

For those of us who've experienced bad relationships, such as an abusive or distant earthly father, God's love can be a really hard concept to wrap our minds around. Having had both an abusive father and ex-husband, understanding God's love was a journey for me. And one of the major ways that God has shown me His love is through my prayer time. So in today's episode, I'm going to share those four specific items/experiences - so that you, too, can be on the lookout for them and recognize them for what they are.

Truth: how we value ourselves individually as women is directly related to our effectiveness as Daughters of the King. (Not to mention our well-being.) After all, we cannot impart value if we do not believe we are valuable. In Episode #11, I shared the Biblical truth of how Satan has a special hatred for women. And today, I’m going to show you, through Scripture, just how quickly he worked to devalue women - and how well he has kept this truth hidden. (Because I'm betting there's a few things in this episode that you've never heard before!) Plus, I’ll cover why it's so important for us, as women, to reclaim our true value and how we can go about doing just that.
P.S. If you've ever wondered about the Bible and multiple wives, here we go!

Friend, did you know that Satan has a particular hatred towards women? And that it's explained right there in the Bible? Looking at history and the all ways in which women have been limited and mistreated, that may seem like an obvious statement. Or maybe it doesn't - because how many of us have heard this concept before? Probably not many. I hadn't heard it until just recently. And what I learned was so profound to my identity as a woman, I had to share it will all of you - my sisters in Christ.
In today's episode, I'm going to explain why the Enemy has it out for women so diabolically. Plus, I'll share why this actually frees you from blaming yourself for the bad things that have happened to you - and for believing that you aren't enough. Snuggle up with your favorite beverage, friend, because this may truly rock your world.

Ladies, the struggle to fit in is a real one. Am I right? There's the pressure and expectations from other people, and the culture at large, to look a certain way, act a certain way, and keep within certain predefined systems. (Not to mention the ones we place on ourselves.) But the only expectations we should be worrying about are those from God. In fact, focusing on all these other things can actually distract us from what God has in store for us - and the impact we yearn to make.
As it happens, Jesus dealt with this exact same issue during His time on Earth. So in this episode, ladies, we're going to examine Jesus's life and break down why not fitting in can actually be a really awesome thing.

The creation of Eve is one of the most foundational aspects when it comes to understanding our identity as women. Yet unfortunately, the interpretation a lot of us have heard is not Biblically accurate. In addition, it's also usually tied to the Church's overall message that a woman's purpose is to serve. In today's episode, I'm going to break down what the Bible really says about the creation of Eve - plus the origin of the notorious "helper"/"helpmeet" and how it's been skewed.
